
A five vehicle crash in Minnesota’s Redwood County left one driver dead and ten people injured. The Minnesota Highway Patrol says the accident occurred along Highway 71 on Wednesday.
Authorities say three vehicles were stopped for a MNDOT flagger – and a fourth was slowing down – when they were rear-ended by a Freightliner tractor trailer.
The driver who died was identified as 92-year old Mary Ann Olson of Redwood Falls. The driver of the semi was a 53 year old Windom (MN) man. Those injured included four children ages 2 to 9…15-year old driver from Alexandria….and two people in their 70’s.
The accident remains under investigation.
