Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident this (Tue) afternoon at Camp Grafton, south of Devils Lake.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened during the noon hour on Newgard Drive, which was impacted by slush and snow.
Troopers say a mini-van was traveling too fast for existing conditions when the driver lost control. The vehicle went into a clockwise skid, leaving the road, entering a ditch and hitting a tree.
The 20-year-old driver, Joshua Sailor of Devils Lake, and a passenger, 18-year-old Bailey Tabor of Devils Lake, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Sailor was cited for care required.
