(KNOX) – Bemidji, Minnesota has been named a top 25 Hallmark Channel Christmas Town.
The top 25 towns were chosen out of more than 1,500 submissions, where a 500 word essay and an edited video Bemidji during the Christmas season was submitted for consideration.
Carlinville, Illinois was named the Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Town and it will be the site to film a future Hallmark movie.
Bemidji was the only top 25 selection from Minnesota. No North Dakota towns were named to the top 25.
