Mike Lindell Says He’s Dropping Legal Challenge, Endorsing Lisa Demuth

(KNOX) – MyPillow founder Mike Lindell says he is dropping his legal challenge about voting irregularities he claimed in the Minnesota GOP gubernatorial primary. Lindell lost in the primary, and he says he will be supporting GOP nominee and Minnesota House Speaker Lisa Demuth.

Lindell told another media outlet that he recently spoke with President Donald Trump. Trump endorsed Lindell in the primary, and Lindell apparently told the president that he should endorse Demuth over him now.

Lindell also says that he is planning to file a lawsuit against voting machine companies over primary voting data he was able to get through freedom-of-information requests from different counties in Minnesota.

Lindell lost to Demuth by 11 points and over 45,000 votes. He had planned on taking his request for a paper ballot recount of the Minnesota Gubernatorial Primary to the U.S. Supreme Court after the Minnesota Supreme Court denied his request.  He was upset that the recount was only going to include the votes cast for him and Demuth, instead of all the candidates running on August 11th.
