(KNOX) – Grand Forks County is still looking to hire backup election workers for this year’s general election. The election is November 3rd, and clerk training will start this Wednesday, October 21st.
Those who have any interest can call the county’s finance and tax department at 701-780-8292 or they can email elections@gfcounty.org.
There isn’t a strict deadline to sign up, but it is preferred for those who want to participate to sign up before the clerk training starts Wednesday. There is also judge training the week after clerk training happens.
The training sessions will last up to two hours, and the county will pay for both the training time and for mileage. Clerks and judges will get paid $17 per hour.
