(KNOX/KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is searching for a farmer who dropped a load of sugar beets near an ethanol plant by Casselton Wednesday.
The Highway Patrol posted a photo showing Cass County Road 10 near a set of railroad tracks covered in sugar beets. Troopers say a nearby farmer stepped in to help clear off the road with a tractor and that the beats were cleared off in a span of five minutes.
Troopers are asking anyone with information about who might have dropped the sugar beets on the road to contact them at 701-328-4259.
