(KNOX/KVRR) – Concordia College in Moorhead’s Board of Regents has approved a $20 million campus redevelopment project that will add 56 student apartments and commercial space along 8th Street South.
The four-story building will include three floors of market-rate apartments.
The ground-floor will be used as commercial space and amenities for those living in the building.
Current buildings on the site including Boe-Olsen Apartments and the Advancement Center will be demolished, but the Welcome Center will not be affected.
The new housing development will be in addition to Concordia’s 94 existing apartment-style housing units at Bogstad Manor and its campus townhouses.
Work is scheduled to start next January and the apartments will be ready in August 2028.
