(Learfield) – Registration for the 2027 Grandma’s Marathon weekend opens Thursday evening, and organizers are warning runners not to wait. After record-setting demand last year, some race events sold out in just 90 minutes, while the full marathon reached capacity in less than 12 hours. Registration opens at 7 p.m. October first on a first-come, first-served basis. The 51st annual race weekend is scheduled for June 17th through the 19th. Organizers say the popularity of the event has made registration day nearly as exciting as race day itself.
