(KNOX/Learfield) – A 44-year-old Hitterdal man was arrested last Friday and is facing several charges for allegedly leading officers on a chase through a cemetery. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says that deputies tried to stop Cody Jacobson for speeding Friday morning. He is accused of fleeing law enforcement, leading officers through the cemetery, and the pursuit ended at his home, where authorities say he resisted arrest. Jacobson is a state trooper and he has minor injuries. He is facing charges for felony fleeing, assaulting a peace officer, obstruction, and DWI.
