(KNOX) –A 51-year-old woman has died in a car crash in Otter Tail County where alcohol is suspected to have been involved.
The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a report of a crash on Highway 59 in Erhards Grove Township.
25-year-old Jacob Thatcher of Fergus Falls was driving when he collided with a car driven by 51-year-old Basro Abokar. She is from Pelican Rapids and she died at the scene.
Thatcher suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital in Fergus Falls, and authorities believe he had been drinking alcohol. The incident remains under investigation.
