(KNOX) –West Fargo Police are investigating an officer who was arrested last Saturday on DUI charges. He was arrested without incident.
Walter Koropatnicki has been with the department since 2024 and he has been put on paid administrative leave.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says that his blood alcohol content was at 0.10, where the legal limit is 0.08. He was pulled over when he was seen speeding and for not staying in his lane.
Police Chief Pete Nielsen will oversee the investigation.
