(KNOX) –A grand opening ceremony of a new playground that was developed by the North Dakota Association for the Disabled and the Grand Forks Park District will be happening later today.
The event is scheduled from 4pm to 6pm at 4100 South 32nd Street, which is north of Discovery Elementary School.
The event will have a short ribbon cutting ceremony. There will also be activities, games, music, free food, and giveaways.
The playground is 10,000 square feet, and was funded by a nearly $1 million donation from the NDAD to the Grand Forks Park District.
