Vets In The Park Event Happening Tomorrow At University Park

(KNOX) –The fifth annual Vets in the Park event will happen tomorrow, August 15th at University Park from 11am to 4pm. The purpose of the event is to honor and support veterans. 

The event will be presented by Love in Action and Red River Valley Community Action, and it will honor all veterans and their families in both the Red River Valley and surrounding communities.

The event is free and there will be food, activities, a 50/50 raffle, games and music performed by Kenny and the Classics.

There will also be door prizes like a television, bikes and gift cards. 

Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski, East Grand Forks Mark Olstad Mayor, and U.S. military officials are expected to be among the event’s guest speakers.
