(KNOX) –The National Park Service has confirmed the hiker who went missing in Theodore Roosevelt National Park has been found dead.
National Park Service rangers recovered his body on Sunday. 37-year-old Artoun Gostantian was reported missing since July 20, and had not been seen or heard from since leaving his residence on July 19.
Video footage shows him entering the park on July 19, and his vehicle was found in the North Unit of the park on July 21.
Law enforcement and search teams looked for Gostantian by foot, while The Civil Air Patrol North Dakota Wing and North Dakota National Guard looked for him from the air.
