(KNOX) – The Sorlie Bridge located on Demers Avenue between Grand Forks and East Grand Forks will be down to one lane starting next Monday. The lane closure is expected to last for three weeks.
The lane closure will allow the North Dakota Department of Transportation crews to finish a project that will work on bridge maintenance.
There will be traffic signals on both ends of the bridge, and these signals will change the direction of traffic on the bridge during the lane closure.
Drivers should expect delays and the traffic signal at the intersection of Demers Avenue and 3rd Street will be off during the lane closure so vehicles can line up at the bridge.
