(KNOX) – President Donald Trump said last Friday that he believes Minnesota is at fault for the cyberattack that Iran is accused of conducting last week. More than 30 municipal water systems in Minnesota were targeted in a cyberattack that disrupted automated control systems. The President told reporters that he doesn’t believe Iran has anything to do with the cyberattack.
U.S. Intelligence agencies and Minnesota state officials first mentioned last Thursday they believed Iran was probably responsible. Officials in the cities affected mentioned that their drinking water was still safe to use.
