(KNOX) –A man who was arrested in North Dakota is now facing eight federal counts in connection with several robberies in Texas. The FBI Houston division announced Jamail White is facing federal charges. He is accused of robbing several Frost Bank locations from 2021 through 2026.
White was arrested in North Dakota last month. He was facing a felony charge in North Dakota when drug task force officers used a search warrant to find him with money and 160 fentanyl pills in Bismarck in November 2023. Court records say that White told investigators he went to Bismarck to traffic and sell fentanyl.
White was identified earlier this year as the “Subzero” suspect when investigations received a public tip about him. White is accused of forcing both employees and customers to the ground while robbing the ban. He apparently got the nickname when he robbed a Houston Frost Bank location during a cold stretch of weather in January.
