(KNOX) –The Moorhead Police Department is looking into how a man’s body ended up in the Red River early Wednesday.
Emergency responders were called to the river at around 1 a.m. First responders quickly found and recovered a body from the river.
The man’s body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for evaluation and to determine how he died.
Police say there are currently no clear signs of trauma, and investigators are working to both confirm the man’s identity and contact his family.
