(KNOX) – A rollover crash near Hannah in Cavalier County has left the driver dead and the passenger hospitalized.
Authorities say a 1977 Chevrolet Impala was traveling west on County Road 6 when it left the roadway and entered a ditch. The crash is believed to have happened sometime between 5pm on Sunday and 7:16am Monday. The vehicle ended up striking an approach, causing it to overturn.
The 46-year old driver from Hannah died at the scene. The 72-year-old passenger from California was eventually flown to a hospital in Fargo.
Neither person was wearing a seat belt. The crash remains under investigation.
