(KNOX) –A 53-year-old cyclist from Denmark suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a driver on US Highway 2 northeast of Niagara.
The cyclist was hit by a vehicle last Friday and the driver fled the scene. The driver sideswiped him, and the cyclist was wearing a helmet. The cyclist was taken to Altru Hospital by the Larimore Ambulance Service.
The crash is being investigated, but authorities say they have a suspected vehicle.
