(KNOX) – A 65-year-old Bemidji man was killed after being hit by a vehicle Sunday night. The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened just before 10:45 p.m. in Grant Valley Township west of Bemidji.
The man who was hit, Floyd Cloud, died at the scene despite lifesaving efforts by first responders. Authorities say the driver, a 56-year-old Bemidji man, remained at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators. There are no signs that the driver was impaired.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
