(KNOX) – After overruling the Alerus Center Commission on their choice of scoreboard vendor, the city of Grand Forks will need a consultant to move the project along.

The Grand Forks City Council has moved to approve Arthur James Partners, a technology consulting firm in Virginia, as the consultant to the city for the project.  The city put out a request for qualifications on the project after terminating a contract with Daktronics.

The city is managing the rebid for an indoor LED scoreboard after local company LucentHD protested the process that Daktronics was chosen under by the Alerus Center Commission.
