(KNOX) – Emergency responders in Mayville are setting a big goal for an advance in training.
Mayville Fire and Rescue wants to bring a regional training facility to the area. The facility would ease the strain of training, which is usually held in Minot.
The goal is $6 million. That amount would include purchasing the building the department currently operates out of and also updates to that building.
Mayville Fire Chief Richard Hart says the training facility would help departments not just in the region, but in the greater tri-state area.
