(KNOX) – Early voting for the June primary election returns to Grand Forks County this week.
Residents can cast ballots prior to the June 9th election by visiting the Alerus Center starting on Tuesday. Early voting is available through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. On Saturday the hours will be 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The North Dakota Secretary of State’s Office says seven counties are offering early voting options: Burleigh…Cass…Grand Forks…Morton…Stark…Stutsman…
Secretary Michael Howe is also urging those with absentee ballots to send them in ASAP. Ballots arriving after the polls close on June 9th will not be counted. At last count 17,706 absentee ballots have been mailed back to the state out of 35,710 that were requested.
