(KNOX) – Odyssey still has eyes of opening up shop in the former AMC Theater in Grand Forks. The company says delays with renovations in other markets have impacted the local project.
In a Facebook post Odyssey Cinemas says the goal of bringing a “luxury movie and entertainment destination to Grand Forks is still very much alive.”
The company says they have already made a “significant investment” toward making the project a reality. The message goes on to say that construction should begin later this year.The former Classic 10 location on 32nd Avenue South closed in June 2013. The closure has left the River Cinema 15 in East Grand Forks as the sole theater provider for movie fans.
