(KNOX) – The Grand Forks School Board has approved the hiring of two new assistant superintendents.
Chris Triggs will be assistant superintendent of elementary education at a salary of $192,000. Triggs currently oversees the Pingree-Buchanan School District.
In the other hire Kristopher Arason will become assistant superintendent of secondary education at a starting salary of $194,000. Arason has been Red River High School’s Principal since 2011.
The district is looking to fill the vacancies being created by the resignations of Catherine Gillach and Matt Bakke at the end of the current school year.
