(KNOX) – Candidates for Minnesota’s 7th District Congressional race received their respective party endorsements over the weekend.
The DFL district convention in Granite Falls (MN) gave a nod of support to Erik Osberg. The Wadena resident works as a Rural Rebound Initiative Coordinator in Otter Tail County.
Republicans endorsed incumbent Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach in her bid for reelection. Fischbach unseated longtime Democrat Collin Peterson in 2020. She won reelection bids in 2022 and 2024.
The 7th Congressional District covers most of western Minnesota from the Canadian border to near the border with Iowa.
