(KNOX) – Red River won the first salvo in the crosstown girls soccer rivalry for 2026 Tuesday night.
The Riders defeated Central 4-2 at Cushman Field. The win secures Red River first place in the Eastern Dakota Conference standings with 15 points. They are the only team in the league without a league loss or draw.
Central remains in the top half of the league, ahead of Fargo South, whom they have a win over this year.
Central hosts West Fargo Thursday. Red River faces Fargo Shanley on the road in a pivotal match Friday.
