(UND Sports) SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota women’s tennis saw Ethel Li and Jule Schulte honored as the Women’s Tennis Doubles Peak Team of the Week following a dominant weekend on the road during the Fighting Hawks’ spring break road trip down south.
During doubles competition, Li and Schulte tallied a perfect 2-0 weekend from the No. 1 spot while facing Nicholls State and New Orleans. Tuesday saw the duo take home a strong 6-4 victory against the Colonels—eventually helping UND to a 4-3 win—before adding in a stifling 6-1 win over the Privateers on Thursday. That quick victory helped clinch the doubles point and the eventual 4-2 team win.
The accolade marks Li’s second career doubles team honor and Schulte’s fourth doubles recognition.
