Measles Found in Traill County

(North Dakota Monitor) – Measles has spread to a fourth county in North Dakota, with state Health and Human Services reporting a confirmed case in Traill County, which lies between Fargo and Grand Forks.

There also is another measles case in Pembina County. There are several  cases in Pembina County in the state’s northeast corner and one each in Traill, Walsh and Williams counties.

Four cases in North Dakota have required hospitalization this year.

The state has reported new exposure sites in Grand Forks and Cavalier. Visit hhs.nd.gov/measles for details.
