(KNOX) – Grand Forks Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Terry Brenner said that the recent budget development was tough and long.
“This process has been deliberate, transparent and inclusive. And it reflects months of sustained effort, by the school board members, and all pre-K through 12 building level and district level administration.” said Brenner.
The Grand Forks School Board voted this week to cut $4.4 million from the 2026-2027 budget.
The school board held five budget cutting sessions since August, which were open to the public.
