(KNOX) – A Grand Forks School District employee has been placed on administrative leave.
Lake Agassiz School teacher Ana Fernandez was placed on the leave due to various claims.
The Lake Agassiz Principal has done a formal investigation into her behavior. The investigation revealed five allegations against Fernandez.
The Grand Forks School Board went into executive session to look at the suspension of Fernandez from her 2025-26 contract, while release for cause is being carried out.
