(KNOX) – The Grand Forks City Council wants to again pursue redevelopment of the old water treatment plant site, but this time, with more opportunities to direct the development.
The Committee of the Whole was presented with a proposal from City Administrator Todd Feland that would allow for a request for projects, a grading by the city of those projects, all led by staff, a move to save funds over hiring a consultant.
The council was presented with redevelopment avenues in May, but ultimately chose not to pursue any of what was presented.
