(North Dakota Monitor) – Most North Dakotans enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program could see their full November benefits restored as early as Monday, according to the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture said it would release the funding for most SNAP recipients within 24 hours of the federal government reopening.
The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services said it was working to get benefits out to residents as soon as possible, but that system updates were pending and it did not have a firm timeline.
Households that received partial SNAP benefits will get the remaining amount, while households that have yet to receive any funding this month will get full benefits, the department said.
