(KNOX) – The Altru Family YMCA is hosting a Chili Cook-off on Saturday, November 15th, between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, at the VFW in East Grand Forks.
The public is invited to stop in for lunch and enjoy several different tasty chili recipes, made by volunteers and vote for your favorite.
There will also be extra fixings such as bread, butter and cheese. The winning chili maker will receive a gift card and a certificate. There is no charge for the event, however a free-will donation is encouraged.
Proceeds support YMCA scholarship assistance for the veterans.
The VFW is located at 312 Demers Avenue in East Grand Forks.
