UND Fireside Chat With Northrop Grumman Senior Executive is This Week

(By Connor Murphy. UND Today) – The campus community is invited to the latest installment of the UND LEADS: Broad Perspectives on National Security speaker series.

President Andrew Armacost will host a fireside chat with Ben Davies, corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Memorial Union Ballroom.

In his role at Northrop Grumman, Davies oversees the delivery of missiles and other tactical weapons systems critical to America’s land-based deterrence capabilities. The pair will discuss a range of issues pertaining to national security, and Northrop Grumman’s role in addressing them.

All are invited to attend this free event.

Each fall and spring semester, UND invites a prominent, national expert to speak at an event hosted by Armacost. This series serves as a complement to the University’s National Security Initiative, which focuses on research and educating tomorrow’s workforce leaders in national security.
