Judge Orders Man Accused of Stabbing in Grand Forks Second Mental Evaluation

(KNOX) – According to court records a judge approved a second mental evaluation for Moses Ayom, 45. He is accused of stabbing another man at a homeless shelter in Grand Forks last year.

Grand Forks Police said that Ayom allegedly stabbed another man in an unprovoked attack in November.

The victim suffered two stab wounds considered life-threatening but survived.

One doctor has already determined that Ayom is fit to proceed, his lawyer asked a judge on to approve a second evaluation, which the judge decided that Ayom will go under.
