(KNOX) – Last week Grand Forks police recognized a man who had an active warrant, he was identified as 33 year-old Ryan Baker.
Police made contact with Baker who attempted to flee on foot. Police used a takedown to stop Baker.
Baker was arrested for his active warrant, refusal to halt, and resisting arrest.
Baker was booked at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center. At the facility a piece of tin foil that had a white substance inside was found. Results came back positive for meth.
Baker was also charged with possessing a controlled substance in a correctional facility.
