(KNOX) – The Grafton man who drowned on Cass Lake in Minnesota Saturday was employed by the Grafton School District.
41-year-old Jon Koehmstedt was the athletic director and assistant principal for 7-12 at Grafton High School and Junior High.
The sheriff’s office says he jumped into the water to work on a pontoon motor issue and didn’t resurface.
His body was found two hours later.
He was not wearing a life vest.
The sheriff’s office said that an autopsy was done at the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
