(KNOX) – The Northern Valley Law Enforcement Memorial statue in Grand Forks was damaged by winter frost.
Police said that they feel that the damage is not related to vandalism that happened near the same time.
The damage to the statue in Optimist Park was reported this week.
Crews have removed the statue to fix it.
