(KNOX) – A Grand Forks man was arrested for terrorizing and assault after being accused of holding a woman down and placing a large blade against her body in a domestic situation in Grand Forks.
Court records said that Grand Forks Police were called to an apartment for a man saying he had gotten into a physical altercation with his girlfriend.
Samuel Gates, met the police and took them into his apartment. The court documents said that he admitted to putting his hands on his girlfriend.
Gates was charged with terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, felonious restraint, and domestic violence.
