(KNOX) – Crews will be closing 2nd Avenue North at the North Columbia Road intersection starting on Monday, June 2. Detour signs will be posted.
This is phase 1 of a 3-phase project to reconstruct 2nd Avenue North from North Columbia Road to North 23rd Street.
During this first phase of the project, access to the athletic facilities along 2nd Avenue North can still be made from the east.
The entire reconstruction project of 2nd Avenue North is expected to be complete by mid-September, weather permitting.
