
(KNOX) – According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol an 86 year-old man from Lakota sustained serious injuries during a crash.
He was westbound on US Highway 2, when for an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch, and continued into a row of trees, hitting several of them.
The driver was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Devils Lake and then airlifted to a hospital in Grand Forks.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
