(KNOX) –
A County Committee will study the potential merger of the Grand Forks County Jail and the Grand Forks County Sheriffs Department.
Commissioner Mark Rustad says the merger would save the county money.
Commissioner Terry Bjerke moved for Rustad to select committee members. Bjerke’s motion passed unanimously.
The County also moved to publish agendas and livestream commission meetings on its website, starting January 17.
