
(KNOX) – A North Dakota State Trooper was assaulted and treated for minor injuries Tuesday at a Fargo hospital.
A trooper made contact with a vehicle in a Fargo parking lot. The driver was suspected of being intoxicated and had children in the vehicle.
Oscar Lee Jr., 44, of Moorhead was eventually placed under arrest for DUI.
Lee resisted and began kicking at officers, striking a NDHP trooper several times.
Lee was arrested for DUI, DUI refusal, and driving under revocation, all misdemeanors.
Lee was also charged with felony resisting arrest, assault on a peace officer and terrorizing.
Lee was transported to the Cass County Jail and left in their custody.
