
(KNOX) -The City of Grand Forks will no longer have extended hours at the landfill on Wednesdays due to lack of use.
The landfill hours moving forward will be:
Monday 8 am – 4 pm
Tuesday 8 am – 4 pm
Wednesday 8 am – 4 pm
Thursday 8 am – 4 pm
Friday 8 am – 4 pm
Saturday 8 am – 11 am
Sunday Closed
The Grand Forks landfill is located at 2701 N. 69th St. (1-mile north of Hwy. 2).
Residents of Grand Forks are allowed 4 free drop-offs at the landfill throughout the year. Resident must show identification to prove they are Grand Forks residents.
Residents can also request a special garbage pick-up online at www.grandforksgov.com/sanitation.
