North Dakota Lottery generates $9.92 million for state’s general fund

(KNOX) – North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley says that the North Dakota Lottery contributed $9.92 million to the state’s general fund… to support a drug fighting task force and compulsive gambling treatment efforts during the Fiscal Year 2024, which ended June 30.
The Lottery’s mission is to provide secure and interesting gaming options and to generate revenue for the state. This year marks the 20th year of operation for the Lottery…as tickets for Powerball went on sale March 25, 2004.
During its 20 years of existence, the Lottery has generated more than $149 million for North Dakota State Government, and players have won more than $191 million in prizes.
