(KNOX/KFGO) – The North Dakota Department of Transportation has announced an upgrade to streamline visits for driver and vehicle services across the state. The goal is to make trips to local branch offices faster, smoother, and more convenient for the public.
Customers can now sign up to receive text and email reminders before their appointments. State transportation officials say these alerts should cut down on missed appointments and keep daily schedules moving on time.
Several branch locations are adding touch-screen kiosks where visitors can check in, join a digital queue, and view real-time updates. The system can also send text alerts straight to a customer’s phone, letting them know where they stand in line and when their turn is coming up.
