(KNOX/Learfield)- The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the September 13 shooting death of 17-year-old Dylon Oothoudt. He was found deceased in the yard of a residence on the 1600 block of John Moose Drive Northwest in rural Cass Lake. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Oothoudt died of homicide by gunshot wound. Investigators have identified a gathering of individuals who were in the area around the time of the incident. They also believe others may also have been in the area who either witnessed or were involved in the incident. Investigators are asking people to come forward with any information about the incident including the identity of witnesses or individuals involved in Oothoudt’s murder.
