(KNOX) – The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services is reporting that a person who traveled through Minot on an Amtrak train had measles, and they might have exposed other passengers.
The train left Chicago on September 23rd and arrived in Minot September 24th at around 9am.
The passenger also got off the train briefly to use the bathroom.
HHS recommends that those who were likely exposed and are unvaccinated for measles should quarantine and watch for symptoms for 21 days. Those who are vaccinated do not need to quarantine, but should still monitor any symptoms.
